Roots: Campus Newspaper

Current Edition


Roots is the campus newspaper for UW-Barron County that is organized, written, and produced by students for the campus community. Each year, student editors lead a staff of student writers, photographers, and designers enrolled in COM 104, Applied Journalism. Students not enrolled in COM 104 are also encouraged to write articles for Roots, submit photos, or get involved at any time. Submissions to Roots are actively solicited. You can submit articles to brnroots@uwc.edu.

This year’s Roots editor is Juliet Means and the publication’s advisor is Nicole Kathol, Assistant Professor of Communication & Theatre Arts. Nicole Kathol ’s office is located in M134 Meggers Hall or he can be reach by email at nicole.kathol@uwc.edu.
