Textbooks/Course Materials

UW-BC is one of the few UW campuses to have a textbook rental system. This means that a textbook rental fee is collected as part of your tuition. The textbook rental system saves students hundreds of dollars each semester as books do not have to be purchased.

Rental textbooks for on-campus
courses are available for semester-long check-out in the Library during regular hours. Some textbooks are available for purchase. Please note that fines are charged for damage, and late return and replacement costs are charged for lost books. Transcripts will not be issued until all books are returned and fines and fees are paid.  See textbook checkout procedures.

Students do have to buy certain course materials (such as lab manuals, workbooks, required readings, etc.). These items can be purchased at the Business Office in Meggers Hall from 8 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
