UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - BARRON COUNTY

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

What is the Student Government Association?

The Student Government Association (SGA) is involved in planning and organizing many events on campus, such as the All Campus Picnic, Spring Fling, and campus dances, analyzing and determining student segregated fees, recognizing new student organizations, and representing student’s opinions and concern at local campus and state system levels.  This is a great opportunity to gain leadership, communication, and organizational skills.  You will also have a great time and be part of creating student life on campus.

How often does the Student Government Association meet?

Because a successful organization thrives on member involvement, Student Government Association meetings are held twice a month.  Involvement on committees and events is determined by your academic and work schedules.

Teamwork and individual commitment is the key to successful events and a quality campus life.
