The April/May roster of short courses being offered at the University of Wisconsin-Barron County includes watercolor, creating a medicinal herb garden along with an evening of dance.
Participants in An Evening of Dance will gather in the UW-BC Commons on Friday, April 25 from 7:30 – 10:00 p.m. Dance instructors Dave and Karen Goggin from Eau Claire will begin the evening with a dance lesson which will be followed with music for practicing all of the classic dances. Admission to the evening is $15.00 per person.
Planning & Planting: Medicinal Herb Garden is a one session class that will meet on Monday, May 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Student Center. Master Herbalist Gigi Stafne will engage participants in a lively discussion and hands-on workshop to facilitate designing the dream herb garden this spring season. Course fee is $25.00.
