Quentin Vieregge - quentinvieregge.com - has taught at Texas Tech University and the University of South Florida. He has tutored at Hillsborough Community College. His areas of interest include assessment, collaborative writing, computers and writing, open educational resources, religious rhetoric, and popular culture. He teaches beginning and advanced level writing courses, film, and the occasional literature class at UW-BC. He also directs the writing tutors in The Learning Center on campus.
Quentin is the lead author of Agency in the Age of Peer Production, published by NCTE, and co-written with Kyle Stedman, Taylor Mitchell, and Joseph Moxley. He has a book chapter under review in Writing Spaces Volume III and one under review with the anthology, We Are What We Sell. He has published a chapter in Cult Pop Culture: How the Fringe Becomes Mainstream. He is managing editor of Writing Commons (writingcommons.org), an online peer-reviewed open education resource for college-level writers and teachers.
Quentin's hobbies include racquetball, watching films, and exploring Northwestern Wisconsin.
