I am a new addition to the UW-BC teaching staff for Fall, 2008. However, since 2000, I have taught at various institutions in India, the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. My research interests are centered in the area of economic anthropology. I have done collaborative research on informal finance and independent research on retail businesses in Mexico. In the future, I plan to expand my research agenda into the geographical regions of the Caribbean and South Asia.
