Community Resources

Facilities Reservations & Catering

UW-Barron County facilities may be available to area individuals or organizations for meetings if they are not being used for classes or other campus programs. Some facilities are available at no cost to non-profit organizations; for others, there is a fee. To reserve a room, please complete the Facilities Usage Form and mail it to:

Meeting Rooms

Your club or organization may meet in one of the many classrooms or in the Osprey Meeting Room located in the Student Center. In addition to rooms, equipment such as TV/VCRs, overhead projectors, screens, blackboards and easels may be available. Room seating can be arranged in a variety of meeting styles.

Fine Arts Theatre

The 349-seat theatre may be available for programs or concerts. Piano rental can be arranged. Dressing rooms may also be available. For an additional fee, special lighting and sound equipment may be used.

Outdoor Facilities

The softball/baseball fields, soccer field, 18-hole disc golf course and three-hole golf course are open to the public.

Gymnasium

Gym, shower and locker facilities may be available.

Art Gallery

Located in the Fine Arts Building, the art gallery may be available for exhibits by local and national artists through special arrangements made with Ginnie Baer, UW-BC Assistant Professor of Art, by calling 715.234.8176 ext. 5408 or by email at ginnie.baer@uwc.edu.

Food Service

The campus Food Service caters all on-campus functions. A full menu is available to visiting groups that includes an array of morning refreshments, sandwich buffets, salad luncheons, luncheon buffets, dinners, and desserts/munchies. Arrangements should be made directly with Food Service personnel by calling 715.234.8176 ext. 5475.
