Safety & Security

The UW-Barron County Annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings, or property owned or controlled by UW-Barron County and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters. You can obtain a copy of this report by contacting this Security Report online or by contacting the Student Services Office.

The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000 (CSCPA) is an amendment to the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Registration Act. The CSCPA requires sex offenders to provide notice of enrollment or employment at any institution of higher education (IHE) in that state where the offender resides, as well as notice of each change of enrollment or employment status at the IHE.  Learn more at the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.
