The Associate of Arts and Science degree is a foundation for many majors in the UW System and is generally accepted by University of Wisconsin institutions as fulfilling the university-wide, general education breadth requirements. The degree may not fulfill certain proficiency, major and/or program-specific requirements. Your UW-BC academic advisor can explain how to include program pre-requisites (such as courses required for entrance into degree programs in education, business, social work, etc.) into the associate degree, so that you’re making progress toward your specific major and degree requirements.
New! Introducing the FastTrack Associate of Arts & Science Degree with a concentration in business. Learn about our upcoming open houses. Features of this program are that you attend as a part-time student and only have to participate in class one evening a week. With the accelerated format, you can complete this degree in just 2-1/2 years - 1-1/2 years faster than the typical part-time program. As a participant in the FastTrack program, your course schedule is a combination of general education courses and business courses. Classes are a blended format of traditional classroom and online instruction. Should you decide to continue your education, the credits earned are easily transferable into other bachelor degree programs.
